🪃 About Memorang
Our mission is to automate how humans learn and acquire skills. The first step in our journey is to build the AI stack for education to transform the credentialing and publishing industries with the best tools to build curricula, assessments, and apps at scale.
After winning #1 (of 1,500) in the Vercel AI Accelerator we bootstrapped to millions in revenue and profitability while delivering over 200MM assessments via our AI platform. We also just closed our first strategic investment to scale faster and deploy our solution to millions of additional learners.
We’re a lean, talented team that rewards agency, curiosity, and shipping real products that directly impact the lives of millions.
"Memorang has literally the best gen AI results I've seen applied to a real world problem."

🎯 Role
We're looking for a Design Engineer who lives at the intersection of design and code. You'll work directly with the founding team to prototype, build, and polish the experiences that make Memorang magical. This role is perfect for someone who thinks like a designer but builds like an engineer - or vice versa.
You'll shape the core UI components and interactions for our AI-powered education platform, which powers hundreds of enterprise apps reaching millions of learners. This isn't template work - it's building composable infrastructure for AI-native education: tutoring, gamification, assessments, and learning experiences across iOS, Android, web, and (now) MCP.
🛠️ Sample projects could include…
- Vibe-coding a new learning mode (flashcards, podcasts, study guides) and working with product teams to ship your prototype to production.
- Building production-quality UI components for a conversational app builder that lets partners assemble learning experiences from reusable primitives.
- Designing and implementing the App Builder interface in Hub - form controls, previews, and validation states that make app configuration intuitive.
- Creating a cross-platform component library with variants spanning test prep, certifications, language learning, and tutoring - all documented with Figma specs and React implementations.
- Improving subscription conversion by prototyping personalized paywalls, implementing A/B test variants, and iterating based on metrics.
- Driving LearnKit's design system - defining the component primitives, interaction patterns, and theming APIs that third-party developers build on.
- Prototyping new AI agent interactions and partnering with engineering to translate explorations into shippable feature sets.
🤝 You might be a fit if you…
- Are equally comfortable in Figma and your code editor.
- Have strong front-end engineering skills (TypeScript, React, Tailwind, Animations).
- Have deep user empathy, and want to build something that people love
- Think in systems and can build reusable component frameworks.
- Are excited about AI and want to help define new interaction paradigms for education.
Nice to have
- Experience building education, productivity, or developer tools.
